Arizona-Themed Banjo Neck
Here is the solid mesquite neck blank. It is a three-piece neck. The center stripe is curly eucalyptyus:
The inlay layout, minus pearl stars. Inlay pieces are glued to the surface of the fingerboard in preparation for scribing.
The roadrunner's eye will get a pupil later in the process.
The completed fingerboard with East Indian Rosewood binding.

Turquoise purfling. A paua shell dot to mark the location of Tucson.
Peghead inlays (not inlaid yet). Wylie need pupils. The boxes make up the truss rod cover. Lettering on the truss rod cover will be filled with black.
